Restaurant Menu


At the carriage house we cook using the INKA which is an amazing British made charcoal oven, used throughout the menu, it adds an amazing natural smoke flavour.

Please note menus change regularly, below is an example of one of our menus.

To start

(V) Curried sweet potato and lentil soup, herb oil, crispy shallots and torn sourdough bread £5.50 Pan seared scallops, textures of cauliflower, crispy bacon, black olive crumb £7.50

Atlantic prawn cocktail, homemade Marie rose dressing, textures of cucumber, avocado and sliced baby gem £6

Prosciutto crudo, duo of compressed melon, cider pearls, porky popcorn, bramley apple purée £6 (V) Deep fried Brie, rocket and mustard frill salad, cranberry gel, dried cranberries £5

MAINS

Bacon wrapped turkey parcel, chateau potatoes, crushed honeyed carrots, buttered sprouts, piccolo parsnips, stuffing and a rich Christmas gravy. £14

Carriage House cheese burger, treacle bacon, hand cut chips, croissant bun & posh slaw £12

Merlot and juniper braised lamb shoulder, baby heritage carrots, crushed new potatoes, minted pea puree & pan jus £16

Sage & pink pepper cured tomahawk pork chop, smoked mash sweet potato, braised fennel, roast crab apples, apple gel & pork jus £14

All food is prepared fresh and cooked to order, all our suppliers are local key small independent business within 30 miles, and we boast our locality and continue to support small local amazing businesses. Nearly all of our meat is cured and butchered in house & cooked over British coal. When deciding please make sure all dietary requirements are stated to a member of our team.
